Asa Clark Flood recovery fund

Last Saturday our family business, ABC Carpentry, was ravaged by torrential rains and unprecedented flooding in Hoosick Falls, NY. The rains completely destroyed machinery critical to the everyday operations of the business and damaged the shop with mud and raw sewage.  We are working 20 hours a day, 7 days a week to clear and restore the shop but we can't do it alone!
ABC Carpentry has been in business since the 1950's. The business has been passed on for three generations and is the economic engine for the carpenters in the family.  ABC Carpentry's building is nearly a century old, and could not withstand the powerful floods that hit the town of Hoosick Falls last week.
Currently, we are all-hands-on-deck in an effort to recover any machinery and repair the building.  Four feet of water rushed into our shop, destroying our boiler, heavy machinery, and three generations of handtools. The loss of equipment, alone, exceeds hundreds of thousands of dollars.
You can see the short interview channel 13 did about our shop here: http://wnyt.com/news/flooding-destroys-property-businesses-in-hoosick-falls/4532700/

With your contribution, you can help us continue to employ our workers to clean out the raw sewage and mud that is drowning our business, building, and machinery. ABC Carpentry is where we learned our craft and how we support our family.

We believe that the shop will be up and running one day, but we can't do it alone!

Any donation will make a difference in our lives and the lives of our employees for generations to come.
