Help Tia Zeze

My Aunt Zeze is an admirable woman! at 79 years of age, suffering from advanced RA since her 40's  she has never surrended to the illness and always had this amazing love for life!!! Even thou she walks with the help of a cane,  she has never let her disability stop her from living life to fullest!  She is a true fighter!!!
During family's  parties she was always the last one to leave the dance floor!
Her doctors were always amazed at her and considered a true miracle that she was not bed riden by now.
Unfortuntely that all changed earlier this month, while here in US from Brazil on a visit to her daughter and granddaugthers, Tia Zeze had a terrible fall and broke her pelvis.  She was taken to the ER and spent a week in the Hospital but because she is considered a tourist they were quick to discharge her home. At the hospital they said that she would really need to have been  transferred to a rehab clinic but with her "imigration status"  she doesn't qualify for any help and all the reahab clinics turned her down for charity care. Out of the pocket is really a fortune and not affordable. We fought and fought to keep her at the hospital where at least there is PT and trained assistance but we had to hear from the doctor that "patient's personal circumstances at home was "not his problem"  and he had no control of it" .... Just heartbreaking!!! We have to watch her painful recovery at home without the proper infra structure.... As usual, Tia Zeze tries to keep her  spirits high and her "brave face" , oh! my dear warrior-aunt, but her pain is excrutiating! She needs Physical Therapy for a full recovery, not to mention an in-home aid, since the family works full time to support the household. God has provided so far and We have already arranged for a medical bed, a walker and a comode but the aid requires a weekly salary, not to mention all the medications and the physical therapies sessions which will be also out of the pocket.... We are in desperate need of funds to help off set all these expenses. We all know how medical care is expensive in this country and specially without any insurance to help with the costs. Flying back to Brazil is not even an option since she would not be able to endure a 10 hour flight with this injury.  We are on a "pickle"!
We have figured out the cost of all these medical needs for 3 months and came up with this figure. If you can find it in your heart to contribute, any amount really would help! My aunt deserves to be restored to fully enjoy her beloved life! Please help us to help her!
