Help Sean Barnett back to the 500s

Sean Barnett has been racing at the speedway for over 25 years - it's in his blood. He lives & breathes it and works hard to fund it. On 08 June 2017 and with trailer in tow, he was on his way to Warrnambool from Sydney to get some work done on his car engine and made an overnight stopover at a motel in Geelong, 2 hours from his destination. To his utter disbelief, his trailer, full of racing gear - plus race car & a mate's engine - was unhitched and stolen in the early hours of July 9th. He is devastated. There's been no sightings or anything showing up as yet. He was excited about getting that car ready for racing in the upcoming Formula 500s season and now it's all gone. Itemising the trailer and goods within totals over $45k worth. The only insurance he has will cover $2k, and that'll be even less after paying an excess, so not even worth it.
Let's help out a mate here. Sean is an asset to Australian speedway racing - he's a fair competitor, will always help a fellow racer in need and is always keen to offer his seasoned advice. We know he'd help out if the tables were turned.....

Some of you are wondering what happens to the donations if Sean's trailer and contents surface... The gofundme money will stay in the gfm account for some months. If nothing shows up, then the donations will be withdrawn and Sean will start replacing all he lost - plus he'll keep us all posted of his progress. If anything shows up after the donation $$ are withdrawn, then he plans sell any duplicated items and still reimburse the donors. We're here to help ease a mate of his disappointing loss. Not a fan of gofundme? Sure, they take out fees, but it's peace of mind for some people to donate to a known fundraiser company than to deposit directly into an account.
