I’m María, from Mexico, and for almost eight years I’ve been in contact with people trapped in the terrible war in Gaza. Today, I’m fundraising to support Rula Al-Ghalayini.
There are reports of a ceasefire, but no one knows if it will last. Gaza is in ruins — only ashes and rubble remain. Rula and her four young children have lost everything.
We urgently need to help them stay afloat, stay safe, have food, shelter, medicine, and mobility, and face any vital needs that arise in this uncertainty. This is just the beginning for them; the future is fragile and unpredictable.
The total support needed is about $10,000 USD, to cover essential needs in the short and long term, as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Even if the fighting pauses, Rula and her family cannot survive or recover on their own. We need to support them over the long term, so they can have a chance at a future.
Time is uncertain, and they depend completely on whatever help we can give. Any contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

“I am currently living in northern Gaza. We have lost everything. The ceasefire may not last, and every day brings uncertainty. My children need food, safety, and care. Help us stay alive and begin again.”
