WOW...wow...Wow... what a whirlwind the past several months has been. Here we were planning on celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, with a vow renewal ceremony in 2017, and we're hit with Glioblastoma Multiforme IV aka Stage 4 Brain Cancer!!! (watch our video below)
Hi there...my name is Levi Barcourt and I'm here on behalf of my amazing wife Gina Barcourt aka Gee Renee . We are the proud parents of 2 boys and 1 girl. Our eldest is 20 years old and a Junior in college and his siblings are 16 and 11. As the kids returned to school for the 2016 academic year, Gina was rushed to the emergency room on August 8th because of increasingly intolerable headaches. The CT scan detected a tumor/mass, and the initial MRI indicated that it was indeed GBM4.
Glioblastoma Multiforme IV or GBM4 is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. With the exception of the brain stem gliomas, Glioblastoma has the worst prognosis of any central nervous system (CNS) malignancy. The physicians indicated surgery was necessary and that it needed to be done ASAP. So within 7 days, by August 15th, Gina had surgery, where about 90% of the tumor was removed...PRAISE OUR GOD!!
Gina just completed her 1st round of 42 days of Radiation & Chemotherapy. This has been a tough hill to climb, but our hope, faith and trust is in Jesus Christ. We KNOW that this is just a test of our faith and in the end WE WIN, and will have a testimony that will bless millions around the world!!

2. To supplement our household income. Gina & I are both self-employed and there will be times when neither of us will be able to work.

to bring awareness to GBM4 & Brain Cancer.

Gina was going to be a part of a new clinical trial called: RT/TMZ ± Belinostat to see if using MRSI could prevent the stop of the GMB4 cells from returning and multiplying so fast. But unfortunately, her neuro- oncologist felt participating in the trial would have delayed Gee's 1st round of treatment and he felt it was necessary that we start the treatment ASAP. We believe there is no greater love...than for a person to lay down their life for their friends, and Gina was willing to do this for others who have also been diagnosed with GBM4.
