Cadence needs knee surgery

Our beloved dog, Cadence also known as "K" or "KK" has ruptured her ACL and requires major surgery.
For those of you who know us, and our dog, we love to live an active lifestyle. Some of the best moments in our lives have been with our dog, hiking the sea to summit, biking the seawall, or just exploring the vast trails of Pacific Spirit Regional Park.
Cadence is 7 years old, whenever we tell people how old she is, people are always so surprised because of her puppy-like demeanour and her love for life and adventure.
As you can probably guess, this injury was a great shock to us. This surgery is very costly, and requires a huge change in our lifestyle, where Cadence will have to be monitored full time and crated. She is so used to running around, jumping, and scaling mountains. Anyone that has a child or a pet, the last thing you want to do is tell them that they cannot do the things that makes them happy.
Our surgery cost is approximately $4500, we do not expect to raise even half of that, but in this type of situation, every bit would help. We would greatly appreciate your donation, your support, and well wishes.
