Please Help Abraham Rest Safely

Dear friends I want you to be some of the first to know that my beloved brother has been found. He now rests in Heaven with his Creator. We are shattered by the news. We prayed to have found him in time, but he was too weak to wait. We are raising funds to give him a proper burial. Sadly he would be buried much too far from home in a military plot and without proper family presence. We are also raising funds to investigate what led to his final rest and to honor his life with a commemorative community bench. My brother died alone- sadly, two months later we are told we are unable to see him. I am shattered to not be able to hold him in my arms, to kiss him and tell him I love him one last time. I am shattered that he died alone, that he laid alone for a month before he was found. I am shattered that even with daily searches, and media coverage, we were not informed he had been found until the two month mark. My 9 yr old is devastated and angry that she can not see her beloved uncle one last time. She cries "come home, just come home". My elderly parents grieve an unmeasurable loss. My brother was always a loving and caring brother. He expressed gratitude everyday. A proud US Marine- he often said "we fight the wars of this nation..."- - My brother often boasted with pride that President Regan during a speech addressed to them said: "..if you don't abide by the laws of this nation, we are are going to send the Marines after you"... My brother proudly served this nation 4 years in active duty and 4 years in the Marine Reserves. He spent his leisure time at the library. He loved to study US and world history and language arts. He learned to speak fluent French and conversational German. He learned some Japanese and Korean while stationed in those countries respectively. After the service, he attended UC Irvine and later graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Sociology. - He worked briefly for the Mayor Agnos housing task force and later worked for a non profit "Labor Ready"- helping immigrants and others receive proper training and services so they could become contributing members of society. He battled with PTSD and sadly on Thanksgiving day of 2015, he was brutally and randomly assaulted by a transient in San Francisco. My brother suffered 3 strokes and lost his vision. After a 6 month hospitalization, he had to learn how to walk, eat, etc. His life was never the same. One year after his traumatic brain injury, he developed grand mal seizures. He was unable to eat properly and eventually dementia affected his ability to take care of himself. He was often admitted to the hospital, but somehow always fell through the cracks of a broken healthcare system. After years of constant and failed advocacy attempts on his behalf, his health deteriorated rapidly. He did not receive the proper support he needed to survive or thrive even to his last breath. However, my brother lived a life of gratitude and kindness. He often said "I am grateful and thankful for the life the Good Lord has given me". He prayed to live a long life so he could see his only niece grow up. He longed to see her- and sadly due to the current Covid pandemic, his contact with his beloved niece came to a halt. Due to his TBI and presentation, people did not understand him and was often shunned by merchants. Yet he never complained. Even with all his struggles, he wanted to make sure he was registered to vote for this election. He was civically minded. A loving and devoted family member. He called our mother daily. We spoke 1-3 times per day. He always kept in touch with our father. As he always said, "I'm a family man". He prayed for a long life, but at 56 years of age, that dream was cut short. Today I am shattered, broken hearted, it didn't need to end this way. He deserved so much more. Today my beloved brother you rest in heavens gate. I pray the Good Lord holds your spirit and gives you the rest you deserve. Today it is my job to help your body rest and be honored. My heart is shattered, my mind races- but I pray for peace. Peace for those who wait upon the Lord. My beloved, my beautiful, my gentle brother. My soul yearns for the day I can see you again. Until that day, my beloved, my heart will sit in that silent void until I can loudly tell you how much I love you and hear your voice once again. I will forever love you! Semper Fi! One last Oorah! I Love You! Never good bye- until soon my love! />Bring my beloved, gentle and brave Marine home.
