Robotics World Championship

FRC Team 56 is a High School Robotics Team from Bound Brook, New Jersey. In participation with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), the team builds a robot and competes at competitions in and around New Jersey among hundreds of teams. In addition to this, Team 56 spends thousands of hours serving the community through numerous outreach events each year.

This particular fundraiser is to assist Team 56 in making history. This year, Team 56 has built one of the most successful robots to date. This previous weekend, ending on April 7,  Team 56 finished the Qualifying Rounds at the Mid-Atlantic District Championship ranked 3rd. Upon the end of the event, Team 56 qualified for the World Championship in Detroit from Wednesday, April 25 to Saturday,  April 28. However, the decision deadline is in less than 2 days.

The team of high school students will not be able to attend due to a lack of funds, unless approximately $15,000 is raised in less than 2 days. The money raised will be used to provide transportation to and from Detroit, hotel fees, and meals for the students.

Any and all donations are graciously accepted. If the deadline is unfortunately not met, the money raised will be saved for the following year so that next year's team may attend the World Championship if the team qualifies.
