Help Zora with Kennedy Catholic High School Tuition
Hello all,
I am starting this campaign on behalf of my daughter Zora. Zora is a precocious and driven eighth-grade student. Zora loves Speech and Debate team, plays classical violin, and regularly volunteers with our church in feeding the homeless. Education is extremely important to our family. It has been my hope that obtaining a quality education will provide Zora with opportunities that previous generations lacked. Since 2015, Zora has been on a rigorous college prep course to prepare her to succeed in college and complete her undergraduate studies in a timely manner. For the past two years, Zora has attended parochial school. After an intense high school admissions process, we were excited to learn that Zora was admitted to Kennedy Catholic High School.
I am thankful for this opportunity and excited for Zora’s future at Kennedy. We have been provided a partial grant for tuition, which we appreciate. However, even with this grant, there is still a gap of $6,494. As a single parent who pays 100% of Zora’s needs, this remaining tuition balance will represent a hardship. Zora is an amazing child, and I’d hate to see her chance to attend such a wonderful school jeopardized for financial reasons.
For this reason, I am reaching out to our community for help. Many of you have known Zora since she was a baby and have made this journey with us, providing much encouragement and support along the way. We are now hoping that you can provide support in another way. As stated earlier, we have a gap of $6,494 to fill. I would like to raise $3,247, which is half of the need. I will pay the remaining balance myself. Any amount that you contribute will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to Zora’s tuition for the 2018-2019 school year. Tuition payments are due beginning in June 2018. We thank you in advance for your support.
