Zion's Story
Our son Zion (11) is an amazing, loving, and giving boy with an outgoing personality. He loves playing outside, spending time with friends, and building worlds in Minecraft. At every family gathering, Zion is the center of attention always making people laugh and smile.

On October 1, 2025, our family’s world changed forever. Zion had his first seizure at home. It was the most traumatic event of our lives. He was rushed by ambulance to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, where after multiple tests he was diagnosed with epilepsy. Despite starting medication (lamotrigine), Zion has already experienced breakthrough seizures.

As parents, we now sleep in shifts and never let him out of our sight. Zion takes it all like a champ to him, he just knows he “wakes up in the hospital.” But for us, the reality is terrifying and exhausting. Epilepsy affects the whole family. Zion is homeschooled, and his health needs have made learning and daily life challenging. As a family, we’ve adjusted everything to keep him safe and supported.

What we're facing.
3 emergency room visits (so far)

EEG testing and an upcoming MRI

Multiple neurologist, endocrinologist and doctor visits.

Medication costs.

A future seizure alert service dog to help protect Zion

Lost income, as Zion’s mom may have to close her small business (Dose Bath Co) to care for him full-time

We are a hardworking, self-employed family. I run Elite PowerSports & Marine (15 years) and my wife runs Dose Bath Co (8 years). My wife and I have been together for 17 years, building our lives and businesses side by side. Because we are uninsured, every hospital visit, test, and treatment falls directly on us.

We are asking for help raising $50,000 to cover Zion’s medical care, ongoing treatment, and the service dog that could save his life. Every single dollar goes toward Zion’s care and giving him the best chance at a normal, happy life.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your prayers, support, positive energy, and generosity. We believe Zion will overcome this with the right care, your love, and your help.
