Help Zeus get the treatments and tests he needs

Hey everyone. As some of you may know but most of you do not, when we first got zeus we knew he was something special. From birth he has been deaf and we caught on to that pretty quickly. A month or two after we got him, we had him and our other pup going for a ride and the window was open more than it should have been and Zeus fell out of the car at about 30-40 mph. We noticed scrapes and broken nails right away and took him to the Vet to see if he was okay. We didn’t know if anything happened internally from the fall. After seeing the vet who told us he was fine we brought him home and just coddled him as we were just grateful he is still here with us. Fast forward to about a month later, we noticed Zeus wasn’t walking/running properly almost as if he had something wrong with his legs or hips.. but trusting the vet who checked him out we just thought “maybe it’s because he’s still a puppy and will grow out of it”. To this day, Zeus is extremely clumsy, his legs don’t work properly, and he is extremely unaware of his surroundings 99% of the time (walks into walls or anything in front of him, constantly falls backwards or flops hard to the ground, can’t hardly get up steps, and absolutely cannot go down steps at all) we walk him multiple times a day hoping to strengthen his legs but to our knowledge, his strength isn’t the issue. Last month, we took him to the VCA and they were immediately concerned about his unawareness, lack of stability, lack of attention span, his walk, and at the time he was pooping blood. They recommended we go to a neurologist because they think he has suffered brain damage from the fall.. unfortunately in the current state me and my s/o are in, we cannot afford to take him and we were denied CareCredit. Our hands are basically tied as we make enough living paycheck to paycheck to really only pay our bills. I’m not entirely sure what the cost would be for the neurologist which is why I put $5000. It could be more, hopefully it is less. They did say it would probably cost us thousands to figure out what all might be wrong with him. Our biggest concern is that our baby is in pain. He whimpers a lot more than any other dog I’ve ever owned. The vet also wants to do X-rays to see if his hips are displaced or if he fractured anything from his spine, legs, or hips and it didn’t heal properly. We are just asking for whatever you can spare, if not just a share could go a long way. We just want our baby to be okay because at this point we are afraid that if we can’t figure it out, we will have to either surrender him to someone who can afford to get him the proper care or put him down because we don’t want him to be in pain or continue to fall, stumble, and potentially seriously injure himself more than he already is.
