Hey everyone, my name is Eddie, and I created this GoFundMe in hopes of raising the money needed for my dog Zephyr’s surgery. Eight years ago, I decided to adopt a dog and went looking for a companion — but instead, I found family. Zephyr was just five months old at the time, sick with parvo and easy for others to pass by, but that diagnosis could not change the fact that I fell in love with him the moment I met him. From that day on, I promised to care for him, and we have been inseparable ever since.

Zephyr has grown into a loyal, loving companion who goes everywhere with me. Over the past months, I started noticing Zephyr limping at times, and that’s when I took him to the vet to find out he would need knee surgery. He doesn’t understand why his body won’t let him do the things he loves most, and it breaks my heart to watch my best friend struggle.
