<div>This is Raji , with the white shirt, a Palestinian from Gaza living in Sweden. I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to help me save my family. Until I finally managed to visit my family in June, I hadn’t seen them for more than ten years. Now they are living in intolerable conditions and could be killed at any time.

<div>As you are all aware, Gaza has endured for more than three months the most savage and terrifying war in living memory. My parents, Saed and Muna, my two sisters, Lubna and Zena, and my brother Mohammed are in Gaza right now trying desperately to survive.
</div>

<div>We had an apartment in the Al Maqousi building. On October 8th, the entire neighbourhood received an evacuation order from the Israeli forces and fled with only what they could carry, hoping to return. Unfortunately, however, the neighbourhood was completely reduced to rubble and my family literally lost everything: their home, their jobs, their friends, and some of our relatives.

<div>Undoubtedly, my family went to the south, they managed to find a place near the sea to settle in, despite it supposed to be a safe area, I recall being on the phone with them several times, listening to airstrikes and the sound of battleship shells.

<div>With food and water getting harder to find every day, lack of warm shelter, overcrowding, unsanitary conditions, and diseases starting to spread, the situation in Gaza is quickly becoming unliveable, not to mention the ongoing bombing.
</div>

</div>
<div>The only way out is over the Rafah Crossing, which is the only exit from Gaza to Egypt. To be able to enter Egypt, they will need approval from the Egyptian authorities, which can cost from $5,000 to $10,000 per person.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No one wants to lose their family, which is why I’m asking for your help in raising the money to get them out of Gaza and to safety.
</div>

<div><strong>Any money donated will go directly to Zena to help pay for visa and travel expenses as well as anything they will need once they are out. For example rent and food. </strong>
