Help Zeke's Parents Help Zeke!

One moment you are, exhaustedly, celebrating the birth of your daughter. The next moment, in the middle of the night with a nursing babe on your lap, you’re researching the Sagittal Craniosynostosis diagnosis your newly-two-year-old son just received.

It’s hard to imagine life with two young babes as anything other than: diapers (lots of diapers), baby toes, keeping up with the toddler, baby coos, nighttime nursing, toddler running, and oh, right, sleeping, we have to sleep. And then there is making a living all the while, knowing that one day, one day it gets a little easier, right?!

For some, it doesn’t get easier, it gets harder…

For the past several months we’ve* witnessed Andrea and Louis work extraordinarily hard, all the while processing the very late diagnosis of Sagittal Craniosynostosis —unfortunately, Zeke’s first pediatrician missed the diagnosis, most often this type of surgery is done much sooner.

First, they have joyfully adjusted to life with Kalista and carefully adjusted to life with Zeke’s Sagittal Craniosynostosis diagnosis.

Zeke is through the first big step: on Wednesday, November 8th they completed surgery and now they will be at the hospital for a number of days, then home for a long recovery period. (Check out the updates for more info.)

--------------------->This is where the community (you) come in:

It isn't easy working to make life beautiful while working hard to make a living —many of us know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck. So what happens when you simply must take time off? Help is needed to cover lost work time, all the extra costs.

And so family, friends, and community: can you please pitch in and help this dear family?

---------------->Pitch in with your thoughts, with your prayers, and with whatever you can share?
Every little bit counts.

If you’d like to learn more about Sagittal Craniosynostosis and their journey check out their blog .

*We are Andrea's cousins and huge fans of the Chatroop Four, we are grateful that Louis and Andrea are open to us all pitching in to help!

Please note: the goal amount is just an educated guess as to what they will need to cover expenses.
