Hi friends and family,
My name is Kimberly, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my son, Zachary, who recently committed to play college baseball at Lamar Community College in Colorado. This is a huge accomplishment and dream come true for Zachary, who has worked incredibly hard both on and off the field to get to this point.
But with opportunity comes real need. Lamar’s baseball program is an incredible community, but like many junior colleges, it operates on a very limited budget. The team must raise $55,000 this year to cover the costs of essential items like:
• Practice gear
• Weights and training equipment
• Field and facility maintenance
• Trackman and Armored Heat (technology to help players train and stay healthy)
This isn’t just about uniforms or extras—these are the tools that will help these athletes grow, compete, and stay safe. Lamar simply doesn’t have the funding on its own, and every dollar makes a real difference.
We’re asking for your support—whether it’s $10, $25, or more—to help Zachary and his teammates succeed in this chapter of their journey. All donations go directly to the baseball program and help support every student-athlete on the team.
If you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this with your network. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world to Zachary and our family.
With gratitude,
Kimberly Wood
(Zachary’s proud mom)
