Our positive friend needs our help
Yvonne is the most positive person that we know and always has a bright outlook on life. She sees the positive side of people in every situation. Yvonne always says we all have 16 different personalities and we all need to get along. She has always been respectful and helped people in our community get the services that they need.
Yvonne has volunteered at several places in Tucson, AZ to include; The Community Food Bank, Goodwill of Southern Arizona, Pima Council on Aging, Pima County One-Stop and most recently The American Red Cross.
Yvonne is a two-time cancer survivor. In August of 2018, our dear friend Yvonne was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She has cancer in her lungs, liver, pancreas, and bones.
Yvonne is a mother of two and a grandmother of two. She is the one who always goes the extra mile to help others in need. She helps her mom and cares for her grandchildren who are the love in her life.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:
We are hoping that Yvonne will be able to go to a top cancer center and receive the treatment that she needs. The insurance will not cover the cost of her copays. With the high costs, even the copay can be $250 per scan. The cost of her medication is $5,000 for 21 pills that she needs for chemo. Other medical costs and out of pocket expenses are well beyond what she could ever pay.
Throughout this entire experience, Yvonne has remained hopeful, which we credit to her positive personality. We are hoping for anything that you can do to help financially by donating and sharing this page. No gift is too small, the need is urgent – Thank You!
