Help Yusif’s Dream Come True


All his life, Yusif Koroma has experienced poverty and need, and he dreams of someday being free of want and being able to provide better for his young family. Yusif lives with his wife Samuella and son Samuel, who just turned 1 year old, on the outskirts of Freetown, Sierra Leone.  His daughter Catherine,4, has gone to live with her grandmother, who is doing her best to help out. A university graduate with a degree in Human Resources Management, Yusif has been unable to find steady work and does whatever manual labor work he can find to feed his family.  Every day is a struggle for Yusif, who can’t even have his family together. 



A hard worker and a man of deep faith, courage, and resourcefulness, Yusif reached out several months ago, knowing he would need the help of people he might never meet but who are touched by the common goal we have--to live a life without want and to provide sufficiently for our families. Yusif is optimistic and has strong faith he can reach his goal, with your help: to raise $1,500 so he can travel to Dubai, find a place to live, find a good job, and save up money for his family to join him and no longer live in poverty.  


This is an urgent request for your help, as Yusif’s visa to Dubai requires that he travel by December 8.  Please do whatever you can to help him reach this goal soon!
