Help Youth Financial Literacy

Message from Andreas Simic (Don’t forget to reach the rewards section of this message)

My early life had many challenges - health struggles as a child, being small for my age, not knowing the language, being bullied were tough experiences, but the hardest thing of all was being poor. Not having what other kids had, like store bought food or clothes, and being ostracised for it. I knew nothing about money, apart from the fact that some had it and others did not.

Fortunately for me this was a short period of my life. As a young adult I learned about money and finances and once I got into my stride I became financially knowledgeable and secure.

My goal is simple; by helping youth to become financially literate we can help them avoid the pains I felt growing up and provide a sense of hope that their future that can be different.

Our funding target is $5000 which allows us to run an initial pilot youth financial literacy summer day camp  program in July of 2017 and to pay for legal costs to start a Youth Financial Literacy Society

Your contribution will allow us to:

·         Provide youth of lesser means the opportunity to obtain a financial literacy education through our summer day camp program.

·         Develop financial literacy materials that are experiential, all encompassing and tailored to how youth learn.

·         Create a Youth Financial Literacy Society that will promote and provide financial literacy education and training so that young people will learn how money is made, how to spend wisely, how to save and how to invest. Our goal is to create a standard for money education for youth.
