At Escape Routes, we refuse to let circumstances define outcomes. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to see, feel, and experience life beyond the limitations of their environment.

<div><strong>Proof of Concept: Our First Retreat Was a Success</strong>

<div>What started as a vision is now a proven reality.

<div>Last year, we successfully delivered our very first Escape Routes retreat, bringing together young people from communities heavily impacted by violence and limited opportunities. Over three transformative days, these young people stepped completely away from their everyday challenges. They entered an environment focused entirely on growth, healing, learning, and possibility.

<div>Escape Routes was born from the shared determination of three individuals who faced profound challenges, rewrote their own narratives, and united to build a lifeline for the next generation.

<div><strong>Sosa’s Resilience:</strong> Shaping a childhood marked by severe adversity into a journey of profound survival, Sosa is now an award-winning advocate, public speaker, and consultant specialising in tackling child criminal exploitation and modern slavery. Currently studying Criminology and Sociology, he bridges academic insight with deep lived experience to train professionals and mentor young people.

<div><strong>Chris’s Transformation:</strong> After spending his teenage years caught in the illusions of a life of crime, Chris chose a radically different path. Through hard work and a mindset shift, he became a successful entrepreneur, founding Unique Talent CIC in 2015 to create genuine, legitimate opportunities for others.

<div><strong>Max’s Determination:</strong> Growing up surrounded by systemic violence and limited options, Max refused to let his environment dictate his future. Entirely through self-belief and vision, he carved out a new path, creating Escape the Hood, a thriving clothing brand and movement centred on overcoming adversity.
