<div>Life has thrown unimaginable challenges at Yesenia and her family over the past year. In December 2023, her husband, Brian, suffered a stroke, altering their lives in an instant. Just months later, their precious son, Braxton, was born with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), spending an extended stay in the NICU. While caring for both her husband and baby through their recovery and therapy, Yesenia received devastating news—she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of cancer that requires immediate and intensive treatment.

<div>With Brian unable to work due to his injury and Braxton needing ongoing therapy, Yesenia has been their full-time caregiver, making it nearly impossible for either parent to bring in an income. Now, as she begins chemotherapy and prepares for a double mastectomy to give her the best chance at beating this cancer, the financial strain on their family has become overwhelming.
