Help Yaya Bring Them Home

Donation protected
If you live in Loma Linda you may know Yaya as that friendly crosswalk guard who always has a big smile and kind heart, willing to help everyone he meets. But behind that cheerful persona is a touching, but difficult story. Yaya is originally from Cameroon. He moved to the U.S. several years ago and has been working hard to save money and navigate the arduous and expensive process of bringing his kids to come here to join him. Sadly, after years of working and waiting, and just when the end of the process was in sight, Yaya's oldest daughter tragically died back in Cameroon. Yaya never got to fulfill his dream of bringing her here, but now he is trying harder than ever to make sure his other four children can come. They are now at the final stages of getting their visas, but they need the money for airfare so that they can finish this last step. Will you please consider donating toward our fund to help this beautiful family be reunited?

Bachirou, Oumarou, Mainta, and Yasmine.

*Yaya's legal name is Abdouraman Baba Djara. His first name is Abdouraman and last name is Baba Djara. He does not have a middle name. He is the father of the kids pictured above and the one of whom this story is about.
