<div>I am Yara from Gaza, my brother Faraj, my friends and I have been working since 2021 to rescue stray animals in our city that suffers from harsh humanitarian conditions that have affected both humans and animals. We started our efforts out of compassion and responsibility towards these innocent souls, and we achieved our dream of building a shelter for cats after two years of hard work, as we finished building it one week before October 7, 2023.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But unfortunately, the war hit our area right after that, and our dreams were destroyed. My family and I were forced to flee from northern Gaza to the south, and our lives became full of difficulties and challenges. We lost our home, our shelter and all the rescue boxes that were part of our efforts. Even the cats we cared for were lost amidst this destruction.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, after more than a year of displacement and suffering, hope still exists in my heart. I believe that I can return stronger than ever, and rebuild the shelter that was a home and mercy for animals who had nowhere to go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I ask for your support and help in this journey. Every donation, big or small, will make a huge difference. The money raised will be used to rebuild the shelter, provide food and medical care for the cats, and purchase supplies needed to restart our work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Be a part of this humanitarian story. Help us rebuild what has been destroyed, and restore hope to our homeless animals. Your support means life to those who have no voice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kind hearts and support that gives us the strength to continue.

<div><em>From Heart to Heart: A Cry for Help</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>In the heart of Gaza, where there are more tears than the sky itself, lies the story of my family. We are not just numbers in the statistics of wars, but hearts that beat every moment, dreaming of safety and peace. Gaza has become a field of destruction, where death knocks on the door every night, and where hope seems like a rare guest that never comes.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>I am writing to you from among the rubble, where there is no longer a place called home, and nothing called safety. My family, a piece of my heart, lives in the shadows of fear, under the roof of the open sky, surrounded by death on all sides.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>But this call is not for me alone, it is for those who suffer around us, for those who seek a moment of comfort in the Deir al-Balah camp, where we try daily to distribute water, trying to ease the burden of drought and pain.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The help we are asking for:</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Get my family out to a safe place: away from the terrifying sounds of bombing, where my children can sleep without the nightmares of war.</em>
</div>

<div><em>Distributing water in Deir al-Balah: because water is life, and we are trying to preserve this life under harsh conditions.</em>

</div>
<div><em>If you have a heart that beats for humanity, if you believe that life should be lived and not wasted, please be part of this light in the darkness of war. Not just for my family, but for everyone who needs a touch of compassion in this world.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>From a broken heart, thank you for every support, every prayer, every help. Let's bring meaning back to hope in Gaza, let's be the difference.</em>
</div>
