<div>Hi, my name is Yamel. Since I moved to the USA, I have been working in the fashion and design industry, where my career was thriving. I went to Montclair State University for my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, which was a great experience. I have always thrived to be independent and able to move forward independently. However, the last two years have been extremely challenging as my father, who is basically 100 years old, has been chronically ill. He has been in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers these last 2 years, and it has been extremely challenging for me financially.

<div>I was working as an assistant manager for a showroom in New York and asked to work remotely to be able to care for my father, but the company didn’t accommodate my request. I have been looking for a job, any job at this point, that I could do remotely just to pay all my expenses and bills, and nothing has happened. I just have encountered a lot of scams. I am not able to pay rent or bills, and I finished all my savings, which is why <strong>I am asking for your help.</strong>

<div>My dad has Congestive Heart Failure, Dementia, COPD, thyroid disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Afib, Ammonia Syndrome, which makes him lethargic sometimes, and he is completely dependent. When he is at the facility, they don’t have enough staff, and I spend most of the day there with him. Unfortunately, he continues to be admitted to hospitals because he is very ill. I wanted to take him back home to the Dom. Rep. and I have asked for help, but nothing has happened. <strong>I am on the edge as I have no choice or resources anymore, and I am taking care of him by myself.</strong> Any help is appreciated at this point. Thank you.
