Our 2-year-old daughter, Xíomara, was recently diagnosed with autism. Each day brings new challenges for her and our family—meltdowns, sensory overload, and limited communication are part of her world. Despite these hurdles, Xíomara is a bright, curious child who loves to learn and explore. However, her sensory issues can make even simple outings overwhelming, and her tendency to run when overstimulated can be dangerous.

We are seeking a service dog specifically trained for autism to help Xíomara. A service dog would provide her with comfort and a sense of safety, helping her navigate the world with more confidence. The dog could offer support during meltdowns, help prevent her from running off, and be a steady companion as she faces daily sensory challenges. We believe that with this support, Xíomara can experience more independence and joy in her everyday life.
