Hello there! Many of you know that I recently had a baby boy, Xavier, in March. A month later in April, I was admitted to the hospital due to difficulty breathing, heart palpitations, dizziness and lightheadedness. I was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy aka (per my cardiologist) postpartum congestive heart failure. I am currently in the rehabilitation phase of this medical condition. This includes heart medications, several follow ups with my cardiologist, an MRI and a ultrasound of my heart. Even with insurance, the copays for all of these things has become very overwhelming, especially with being on maternity leave and taking care of a newborn. This is really difficult for me to do but I am reaching out for assistance to alleviate some of these medical expenses. I am exhausted battling this in silence. I am hopeful and determined to not have to wear a heart defibrillator in the future. Any assistance, prayers and encouraging words is needed and greatly appreciated!
