My name is Wulf, and I’ve been unable to work since April 3, 2025, after being diagnosed with extreme hypertension and stage 1 kidney cancer. The tumor has forced me to lose my right kidney, and the resulting health crisis has completely upended our lives. My wife Teddi, who was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, and our two pets, Finn and Mai Tai, depend on me. With my income gone, our household income has dropped by two-thirds, and we’ve exhausted our savings while waiting for disability assistance—which was recently denied.

 Every day is a struggle, not just physically but emotionally. My blood pressure reached dangerous levels, putting me at high risk for a stroke, and the stress of my cancer diagnosis last Thanksgiving has taken a toll on my mental health. Teddi is doing her best to support us, but she’s overwhelmed, and it breaks my heart to see her cry as we worry about how to pay for rent, electricity, food, and gas. We’re reaching out for help because we have nowhere else to turn. Your support will help us keep a roof over our heads and cover the basic necessities while I focus on treatment and recovery.
