HELP WORKERS PROTEST AMAZON HQ - BLACK FRIDAY

Almost 5,000 people have already signed the petition  put forward by current and former Amazon employees calling for safer conditions and increased wages at Amazon, but now they need your help bringing the fight to Amazon World HQ in Seattle. 

On November 27th, former Amazon employee turned labor organizer Chris Smalls  is leading a group of current and former Amazon workers from the East Coast all the way across the country to Seattle for a Black Friday/Cyber Monday action. The Amazon workers plan to meet with Seattle city council member Kshama Sawant  to put forward a list of demands including increased wages for workers and taxes on Amazon to support community development. 

The organizers need your help to get to Amazon World HQ.  While Jeff Bezos and Amazon have endless resources to fight their employees’ demands, working-class organizers have limited means to fight back effectively. Smalls and his fellow workers have led actions against Amazon all over the country but they need help getting to Seattle to keep the pressure up and to bring the fight to the belly of the beast .

100% of the funds donated will go to Chris Smalls so that he can cover travel and lodging expenses for at least 3-4 other organizers, all current or former Amazon workers. They will then rally with Socialist Alternative  in Seattle to bring attention to their demands. Instead of giving your money to Jeff Bezos this Black Friday, consider giving it to the workers fighting him instead!
