HELP WONG BELONG- Stateless in Malaysia

I'm running a marathon to raise funds for my friend Wong. A stateless child in Malaysia. The definition of a stateless child/person means one has no rights to identity, education, medical help, work, vote, and travel. Some basic rights that we as citizens of a nation don't think twice of.  Despite being born in Malaysia, Wong's citizenship status is in question because his parents (Malaysian dad and Indonesian mum) did not legally register their marriage and passed away when he was young. Now at 24, he is proactively trying to establish a legal identity. After a few tries, his application for citizenship is denied. Join me in raising funds for his court appeals. Wong may be just one person but his success in obtaining citizenship will highlight a crack in the Malaysian system.  A crack that as many as 290437 children have fallen through. Many who are trapped in a life of exploitation and poverty. If you donate towards the cause, I will pledge to run a marathon (42km) on the 13 of October in Melbourne. Thank  You.
