Help with surgery for my little Shep

Hey, I’m starting this go fund me for my wee dog Shep. He was born on the 30th May 2021, making him now 4months old.

In the short time we have had him, he has had massive impact on our small family life. 

He is a black lab puppy who unfortunately has not been great since we collected him.

He is in major need of some complex intestinal surgery that the insurance company won’t cover. 

Shep recently had surgery on the 3rd of September and now is under care in the critical/intensive care unit awaiting the go ahead for surgery for a specialist. The existing vet bell is around £10k and we have managed to pay a substantial chunk of that between myself, my partner and our immediate family with what we could afford. 

I appreciate it’s a big ask but I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important to us. Shep is such a wee fighter and at only four months we feel deserves another chance at life. This surgery doesn’t guarantee his survival but it gives him the best possible chance, the specialist said he is incredibly strong and determined !
