My name is Morgan, and I'm raising funds for Shakespeare's recent vet visit due to an emergency. Shakespeare is my 8 year old cat, and my emotional support animal. He, along with his brother Orwell, provide emotional support and comfort for me as someone who has had lots of health challenges which sometimes results in anxiety and sadness. Unfortunately, Shakespeare has recently had some health issues of his own. He has been diagnosed with feline idiopathic cystitis, which is a bladder and urinary condition that can flare up unexpectedly and which can be fatal if not addressed immediately. Shakespeare has had several flare ups this year, resulting in high veterinary fees from normal and emergency visits.

My employment situation has been very difficult in the last year. The economy, as well as some other factors have made it hard to keep stable employment. I have recently accepted a new position with good pay, but the position does not start for another month, and Shakespeare had a scary flare up today. I was able to negotiate a lower fee from the vet, however I need help covering the fee for his exam and prescribed medications to keep him healthy. Anything you can offer to help would help me so much. Shakespeare is a beloved member of my household, and keeping him healthy is of the upmost importance to me.
