Randy Cook passed away the other day and sadly he didn't leave money for his funeral arrangements. Of course, there's a possibility that we could use death benefits but we're not sure that he contributed over the required 10 years. Randy was very private about these things and we want to send him off respectfully.
Randy met many of his friends through his love of motorcycles and the community of riders, many he taught to ride. He was involved with BCCOM, BC Safety Council, in the Westwood Motorcycle Race Club (WMRC), Pitt Meadows Track Days and he ran his own motorcycle riding school called Cyclelogics.
Randy and I ran the Pitt Meadows Track Days for the past 15 years and it was so much fun for him to meet all of the riders that attended.
Randy's final wishes were simple and we realize now how many lives he touched. We would like to respect his wishes so we're
reaching out for assistance.
Linda and I, his Trustees, would like to have everyone come together in the spring at a local venue so we can pay our respects and tell some stories. We will hold a ride in his honour as well.
If we are able to do so we would like to donate any residual money to BCCOM as this was an organization near and dear to his heart.
A small donation in his honour would go a long way to assisting us to cover his funeral costs.
Thank you from his friends and family,
Nancy and Linda
