Help with Peter‘s long road to recovery

On Saturday September 11th, everyone’s favourite cowboy, Peter Hallman had an awful accident at the Festival Western in Quebec. During his event, his stomach was stepped on by a horse and Peter was rushed to the hospital for what would be the fight for his life.

The trauma resulted in two major surgeries lasting over 12 hours as one of Peter's main arteries was cut and part of his intestine was crushed. He was unconscious and not breathing on his own for much of the time.

We will forever be grateful for the heroics and life saving measures of the vascular surgeon, the 8 litres of blood received by Peter, and the work of the paramedics to keep our friend alive.

So now the man that has never met a stranger and that has helped so many others, has embarked on a long road to recovery. We hope that together we can help to lessen any financial stresses over the next few months and that Peter makes a full recovery.
