Help with Natasha's medical bills

My wife Natasha was in a very bad car wreck over a week ago, and is still in the hospital. She had to have some fairly major surgery to remove almost 2 feet of her bowel that was damaged in the accident. She is going to be ok, but it's going to be a slow recovery process. This woman means everything to me, and I'm so thankful I still have her after what has happened. Natasha has medical insurance through my employer, and as far as insurance goes these days, it's a pretty good plan. That being said, I'll be perfectly honest with you. Natasha and I are members of that ever growing "class" of Americans who may be at the very bottom of the middle class, and manage to make it look like we are a little better off than we actually are, but we are just one incident like this away from being buried by a pile of bills we just can't get out from under. Even before this accident, Natasha has been dealing with some pretty bad health issues, and we already have a mountain of bills from that. I've had several friends suggest that I do this, and in the past both Natasha and myself have donated to other people's causes of various kinds. I've set my goal here pretty high, because I'm honestly not even sure yet what we are looking at financially, since she's still probably several days from being discharged, and also in hopes that we can raise enough to cover the bills from this current situation, as well as her outstanding medical debt, but we truly are in one of those positions where every little bit will help us immensely, so don't let that number make you feel like you couldn't possibly help. Any small amount we are able to raise will be greatly appreciated.
