Private medical cover is not going close to meeting ongoing treatment costs.
As a new mum I was fighting for my life when a massive tumour was found in my brain. I wasn't given the option of going public for my surgery and so the costs have continued to accumliate. And will continue as there are follow-up appointments with specialists and MRI scans. The road to recovery has been a challenging one, I've had to learn to do so much all over again. The financial strain is something I didn't realise would be for the rest of my life.
I'm raising funds to cover the unexpected medical costs I now face to just keep living. Things like regular MRIs, neurologists and other specialist appointments as required. To date expenses incurred have already exceed $10,000.
Any donation big or small will help me and my family get over this huge speed bump that life has put in my path.
