Cancer expenses for Mary Lancaster-Close (Klink)

There aren't too many people who can say cancer hasn't touched their lives in some way. Recently it has affected ours more than ever before and will continue to affect us at a level we've never experienced before. Over the last two weeks what we thought was going to be a quick fix has turned out to be much more serious.   My mom was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. She'll have radiation daily for several weeks along with chemotherapy prior to surgery which means trips to Pittsburgh everyday, medical bills, finances being stretched and all right at the holidays. My mom has always been the backbone of our family. She's who we run to for support with good and bad news and now she's the one who needs support. She's a familiar face to many from her years as a waitress at Raven's Inn and Lone Star to her years in management at GW Superette. Even now since moving to New Salem she volunteers as the Girl Scout Leader. Her smile and generosity to help and serve through the years has been one of her greatest accomplishments and now she needs our help. No amount is too small every little bit helps. Thank you so much.
