<div>I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I need your help. I am currently facing one of the hardest battles of my life. I am in urgent need of a kidney transplant.

<div>My kidneys were damaged after a long period when I unknowingly lived with anemia. I spent months feeling sick without answers from the doctors here, until I finally saw a specialist in Amarillo. After countless tests and delays, too much precious time was lost and my kidneys could no longer recover.
</div>

<div>I’ve been on the transplant waiting list since February, and that same month, I began dialysis treatments. Dialysis helps me survive, but it’s exhausting and has changed every part of my daily life. Those who know me closely saw how bad things had gotten before treatment began. I was so weak and drained that I could barely do normal tasks.

<div>Through it all, I’ve tried to stay strong. Not long ago, we lost everything in a tornado, then faced my father’s cancer diagnosis, and now, my kidney failure.  My husband has been my rock, but he can’t do it all alone. Between travel to doctors in Amarillo and Lubbock, medications, and regular treatments, we’ve completely run out of resources.

<div>My doctors have advised me to have $10,000 saved and ready for when my transplant day arrives. Which could happen at any moment. The money will go toward medical expenses, lodging and travel for surgery and recovery. Lost income, since my husband will need to take time off to care for me

<div>I haven’t been able to work because of my health, but I’m praying for the day I can go back to doing what I love and living fully with my family again.
