Help with Maysee's Eye Surgery

Donation protected
If you're here, you've probably had the absolute privilege of meeting my sweet baby girl, Maysee. If not, and I know I'm incredibly biased, she is truly one of the sweetest souls to grace this planet and I know that I absolutely won the rescue dog lottery when I picked her up from the shelter 10 years ago. She has seen me through many ups and downs since she's been with me, followed me to 7 different apartments and houses, completed 3 cross-country trips, and has been a light in my life when the rest of the world seemed to go dark. She's never asked for much other than many treats, walks, and cuddles, but now she needs quite a bit more.

On October 2, I noticed Maysee seemed to have an eye infection. I looked it up, called around and was told that she should probably see a vet sooner rather than later, so on October 4 she and I went to an urgent care vet. I found out that it was much more than an eye infection and that she has glaucoma with a hyphema (eye bleed) of unknown origins. It was recommended we see an eye specialist as soon as possible. We saw the specialist the next day who concurred with the vet's diagnosis and recommended a medicine regimen with a check-up a few weeks later. On October 27, we went in for the check-up and unfortunately found that the pressure in her eye has continued to increase. I went forward with an ultrasound of her eye which detected a mass on the back of her eye. At this time, we do not know if this is only affecting her eye, or if there is a much bigger issue. In any case, removal of the eye is a must and needs to be done soon.

This is where I need your help, as hard as it is for me to ask for it. To put it simply, I just don't have the money. I've been given an estimate of anywhere from $3,880.30 to $4,850.38. This would include surgery to remove the eye, a general blood work panel, chest X-ray and abdominal ultrasound to see if this is cancer spreading from elsewhere, and a radiology interpretation. The "low" breakdown is as follows:

Enucleation Unilateral $2,500.00
VetScan Comprehensive Diagnostic Profile + CBC $222.40
Chest Xray Study $325.40
Radiology Interpretation $105.00
Ultrasound Abdominal $472.00
Histopath sgl Tissue Full Report $255.50

I've already spent over $1,000 on treatment and vet/specialist visits up to this point. Currently, surgery is scheduled for Monday, November 2, but I'm calling around to see if I can find a lower price. This past year has been one of the hardest years for me for reasons that I'm not willing to post publicly at this time (feel free to ask me privately if you'd like), and it's continuing kick when I'm already down. It's been a year of incredible loss, emotionally and financially, but I'm refusing to lose her without a fight. Anything I can do to keep my sweet girl around and happy, I know I have to do. She's given me and so many others love and happiness. Any and all help would be so very appreciated. Maysee and I thank you for anything you can give.
