Help with Lola Bean's MRI & surgery ♡

UPDATE 4/2/24

Lola was diagnosed with late stage urinary tract cancer while we were at Virginia tech. We are helping her cross the rainbow bridge today as it has spread and increased her pain beyond her medication. Thank you again for your generosity in wanting to help us save her. I'll be forever grateful. ♡

My mom told me this morning that I'm going to have my procedures 3/13 at 9:00 at Virginia tech vet school.

She was crying. I don't know why. I'll be just fine! ♡

The price for imaging and my surgery is $9000-$9700.

Hi! My name is Lola Bean & I'm the light of my human mom and dad's life. Well. Along with my stupid brother, Chewie.

I recently hurt myself. Apparently my neck and shoulder. Maybe I jumped off of the couch wrong barking at a dog on the TV? We'll never know. Shhh.

Anywho. My humans took me to a neurologist today and the Dr. pulled my neck and legs and then told them I needed an "Mreye"? And surgery. Whatever that is. All I know is my parents got really anxious and worried.

I was at the vet alot this year. My mom was constantly chasing me around the yard with a soup ladle catching my pee and bringing it in to the house. Gross. I had weird tests called ultra sounds and needles to take my blood. My dr said I have Idiopathic renal hermaturia and put me on a yucky pill. I love my vet, so it's not too bad. I get to bark at everyone and they call me sassy and pretty.

Anywho again. My human parents say they are having a hard time finding more money for my hurt neck because of my vet visits about my pee,

and also my horse friend Cal was sick too.

They want me to ask for help. Which I know is really hard for them to do because they like being the ones to help, not ask for help. But here we are. I need those weird sounding procedures to feel better. I'm so uncomfortable that when I move too much it hurts and I yip. Mom and dad and my brother (not my dog brother. It scares him) always come running. I'll have to remember that once I'm feeling better. Hee hee

So. If you can help, we would all be so incredibly grateful. Even if it's to just share this thingy. My "mreye" is $6700 and the mean lady who pulled my neck around said my surgery will be $12k or more.
