Help with Lizette's Surgery

Around the end of June, my dear friend Lizette woke up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain in her upper abdominal area. She endured this pain for some days and decided to visit urgent care where they discovered she had a large umbilical hernia. 

After further tests and examinations, her doctors also discovered a large abdominal mass. These findings will require separate surgeries, beginning with the abdominal mass since it is critical to confirm if it is not malignant and its measurement in length is 30 cm. Once she has recovered, another surgery will be planned for her umbilical hernia.

Although she's very fortunate to have some coverage with her insurance, there is still a lot that she will need to cover out-of-pocket for both these surgeries and for her recovery time. (Since she will be out of work for six weeks to recover from the first surgery.) The first surgery is this Friday, September 21st, and funds will be needed in the following weeks after this surgery. Her medical bills have already started to accumulate, as well as her rent and other costs of living.
