<div>If you're reading this you probably know me (Kolleen) already from poetry or trivia or horror or any of the other things I do, but also as a person who has been dealing with going back and forth in court with someone. The first three times was whatever but I can no longer handle this on my own as 1. I'm not a lawyer and refuse to use ChatGPT to pretend to be one and 2. This is starting to affect my family, my children, and certainly my own mental health. While I do believe that I'm in the right here, I have consulted a lawyer to help me navigate this situation and need help paying for that. I only work part time and do not have credit cards or anything like that, so every penny that has to go towards navigating this is a penny that takes away from my family's life.

<div>I'm asking help to retain this lawyer and with associated costs and fees, as the retainer alone is $5k. I ask that you donate anonymously as I do believe putting your name on this fundraiser may put a spotlight on you, and I don't want that for you.

<div>Thank you for your time and I promise I'll get you back on the other side of it. I'll probably adjust the amount as needed but I'm starting "small". Thank you.
