Help With Kristen's Recovery

On Saturday, October 7th, Kristen was involved in an ATV accident. It rolled over on her and ended up smashing her right hand. She went to the small hospital in Jacksonville, Tx, where they determined her injuries to be too severe for them to treat. Kristen had to be care flighted to Baylor Dallas. Her pinky, ring, and middle finger had to be completely amputated. Her pointer finger fractured. 

Kristen will most likely miss work for the next few weeks, if not longer. Not only was this injury devastating by the loss of most of her right hand, she is right handed and will have to learn to become left hand dominant with only partial use of her right hand. 

The accident was tragic enough and the recovery ahead hard without adding the stress of the upcoming medical bills for her careflight (several thousand dollars after insurance pays) and amputation. She will probably need aftercare, physical therapy, but the extent is not yet determined. 

These funds will go directly to Kristen to help with the loss of income and medical bills. 

Kristen is a devoted mother, loyal friend, and the hardest worker you've ever seen. She has taken this tragedy in stride, however, let's keep her spirit high with lessening the financial burden of this accident.
