Help with her fight against cancer!

Donation protected
Hello. This is my sister, Cathy. On October 17th she underwent surgery to have her gall bladder removed. What was supposed to be a laparoscopic procedure,  ended with her having a 7 inch incision along her rib cage.
On October 23rd, her surgeon called with the pathology results that the entire gall bladder was found to be cancerous. The incision margins tested positive for cancer therefore she still had cancer inside of her and we have no idea if it has metastasized.
On November 9th, we met with her Oncologist Surgeon at the Cancer Center where we were informed that she will need to undergo another surgery.  Doctors are scheduling surgery as soon as the first week of December due to the urgency of her diagnosis. They must reopen her incision and make it larger as well as curve it upwards along her ribcage to resection part of her liver as well as her bile duct. We pray that the surgeons will be able to remove all the cancer.
Cathy has used all her personal time from work while healing, and will also be out of work for at least another 6 to 8 weeks for her second surgery. She will be on short term disability but we all know that disability does not even start to cover basic expenses, copays or co-insurances. She will also have to follow through 6 months of chemotherapy and then radiation per her surgeon.
We are asking for assistance towards   medical bills and any associated costs of treatment. Health insurance, however, will not cover all of her expenses. We can not even start to anticipate all the support she will need to help with for her long journey with appointments, tests, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
All money donated will be used for this purpose. We've only received 2 bills so far for her initial surgery and well over $3,000.00 just for the surgeon fee and pathology fee. This  doesn't even include the bill for her 4 day stay at the hospital or any other costs.
Gall bladder cancer is a rare cancer that affects less than 20,000 people a year nationwide. It statistically affects more women than men.
My sister is my best friend. She has always been a wonderful, giving and loving person as well as a second "mom" to my children. She moved back to Syracuse last year to help take care of our elderly mom. To know her is to love her. Cancer is one of the scariest, most heartbreaking diagnosis anyone can recieve. We have most of the facts about treatments  with cancer but we have no idea what is in store for Cathys' journey to recovery. I started this go fund me account to help ease her worries. Families do everything they can for their loved ones. I can't even imagine what she is going through, or anyone who has ever had cancer affect their lives.
Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and every dollar matters. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I will keep everyone posted on Cathy's condition. Please share, thank you and God bless! -Xia
