Hendrix Emergency Surgeries

I'm not used to being on this side of the GoFundMe page however we are in need of some serious aid from fellow puppy and animal lovers and kind humans alike.
Last week Hendrix was not responding to us normally and wouldn't eat drink or be his goofy self.
We knew something was wrong and took him to the ER where they performed surgery immediately.
It turns out our cute little dummy had gotten a little piece of a rubber ball stuck in his stomach and they had to get in there to get it out.
Unfortunately and just with our luck his wound opened up again 3 nights ago and a piece of the intestine came loose.
I'll leave out the gross stuff but what's important is that we rushed back to the ER and A SECOND emergency surgery needed to be done in which removing part of the intestine was necessary to avoid serious infection and more complications.
Although we knew it was going to be expensive it wasn't even a choice no matter what the "other" option they gave was. We would do anything for him as he would for us. He is family and you all know exactly what that means. We rescued him from a shelter 2 years ago and everyday he shows us with as much enthusiasm and gratitude how appreciative he is. He just like any other dog knows no limit to how much love he can give and I can't imagine life without him.
We picked up Hendrix last night and he is now stable but definitely has a long way to go to ensure everything the awesome doctors did stays that way. He will have a bag with a drainage tube and all necessary meds and protective gear on for a many weeks before we can even let him try to get around like the beautiful soulpup he is. This whole ordeal has taught us a lot but not more than regretting not becoming a vet! The bills have already exceeded $10,000 and this is just something credit cards weren't made to handle. Your help is SO GREATLY APPRECIATED and getting our boy back in action and ready to live the good life he deseves again is the only thing on our mind. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
