Help with Ham's ER bill for Idiopathic Cystitis
Donation protected
My sweet little baby boy gentleman Ham has spend the last couple of days in agony when he tried to pee. I took him to the ER on Monday and while he did have crystals in his urine he didn't seem to be blocked then however, last night I noticed he was straining to pee and not getting anything out anymore. He also still seemed to be in a lot of pain in spite of being on some pretty strong pain killers.
After taking him to the ER again last night I learned that he was now blocked pretty badly and really suffering. Unfortunately, this meant a catheter and an 48 hour overnight stay and after Monday's bill was already $800 with medication and his swap to expensive medicated cat food, I was already hurting. This new bill required a deposit of ~$3600 with a potential for it to cost up to ~$4500.
Ham is only 1 year old and this poor baby boy is already going through hell. He recently had to grapple with a tapeworm from fleas he had at birth. But nothing is going to stop me from healing and helping this sweet adorable little idiot the universe dumped in my lap.
Any money that is donated will go to helping alleviate some of this massive vet bill I'm facing and would mean the world to me. I know money is already tight for most of us with Covid-19 so please don't feel obligated to donate if you yourself are struggling, but if you can spare a couple bucks it would mean the absolute world to us.
Thank you! <3
