Help with Fitzgerald's vet bills

Anyone who knows Sarah and Keith knows how much they adore Fitzgerald. He is the sweetest, best little boy. And they have been struggling for months to figure out why he has been sick, with lots of scary symptoms like vomiting and uncontrollable shaking. It's so tough to see your little guy not feeling well and not be able to figure out how to make him feel better.

The vet recently found a section of Fitzy's intestine is extremely thick, leaving little to no room for food to process through, and he now needs surgery - a gastrointestinal resection and anastomosis of the intestine - after which they will biopsy the problematic section to look for the underlying cause. Sarah has been quoted up to $3500 for the surgery, which doesn't include all the vet bills and medications, plus time off work for aftercare-- past, present, and future.

Sarah & Keith are extremely hardworking and would never ask for help on their own, but both work in the service industry and have been hit hard financially, like so many of us, by the pandemic. They are are also expecting their first (human) child in the next few months, which will add a lot of expenses. Though they would never dream of not doing whatever it takes to help Fitzgerald, the resulting bills will be really hard on them. They would never complain and do whatever they had to do financially, but I know how much their friends and family love them (and Fitzy) and am hoping we can all come together to offer some financial support for Fitzy's vet bills. I know they will be so grateful. Fitzgerald is the sweetest little guy and we can't wait until he is feeling better!
