Cathy Hampton passed away on January 17, 2021, from complications of COVID-19. She is survived by her husband, Dave Hampton, a sister, Audria Bollinger, a brother, John Helms Jr., a stepdaughter, Lisa Browers, grandchildren Christopher Higgins, Kayla Shook, Theresa Pierson, Alex and Austin Pierson, and many other friends and family.
She is proceeded in death by her sons Justin Hampton and Travis Pierson, her father, John Helms Sr., her mother, Helen Bowers, a stepfather, Bill Bowers, a brother, Jessie Helms, a brother-in-law, Randy Bollinger, and a nephew, Zachary Rogers Helms.
Cathy was a loving lady and great friend. She always enjoyed being around people and enjoyed laughing and visiting.
We are asking for donations to help with her final expenses. All funds will go to Cathy's husband, Dave Hampton.
