<div>As you know in May of this year I was diagnosed with atypical carcinoid tumors of lungs. What I didn’t know is the effects it would have on my mental health and unfortunately it’s something I had to discover on my own as I wasn’t warned beforehand of its affects on the mind.

<div>The tumors I have are rare and my doctors and psychiatrists at both Providence St John &amp; Cedar Sinai have told me that my tumors secrete hormones in my body that induce psychosis and manic behavior. I was told this information when I was already experiencing psychosis to the point where I was denying a surgery to remove a tumor that was pressing against my spine and preventing me from walking. I eventually got the surgery because my friends and family kept advocating for me and pushing things along on my behalf.

<div>I’ve been in a psychosis state for months and I had a few days of sanity before going back into a psychosis. I was able to get out of the psychosis finally this past Monday and checked myself into the hospital for psychiatric care. I want to thank the doctors at Cedars for helping me to understand that these last few months have been because of the tumors and is a medical condition that needs to be treated with chemotherapy. I’ve been given some psychiatric medication to help keep my mind in a healthier state while I begin the chemotherapy treatment in late January or earlier February.

<div>I wanted to give you all this update because I know it’s been confusing looking at my socials to figure out what’s been going on with me. I’m going into an outpatient facility for further treatment and care for my mental state while I await treatment for the tumors to prevent me from experiencing psychosis again.

<div>I would greatly appreciate any donations you all could offer me, the medical costs for my initial surgery and ongoing treatments are mounting up and I’m figuring out how to navigate things. 
</div>

<div>I do have good news though I’m releasing my new album in January. I’ll have details about it very soon, it won’t be released on streaming platforms but it will be available for purchase to help with my ongoing medical costs. It’s definitely not the way I wanted to originally release it, but I’m really proud of this project and I know it’s something special.
