Bronté was diagnosed with cancer in June 2014. Since then he has endured radiation treatments, chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and hospitalizations. It's been extremely difficult, draining our family of all our resources and putting a lot of strain on our kids.
While he did see results with the first rounds of chemotherapy, it has taken a toll on his body and he is unable to do any more. The tumors have spread. The doctors here have told us there is nothing more they can do.
We have researched some of our options and a friend of ours in the community recently introduced us to the CIPAG clinic in Mexico.
It sounds hopeful. We are also looking into MD Anderson and MSK for second opinions as well as yhr Midiri Foundation, however, we need the funds to make it happen and are asking for your support in this urgent matter.
The cost for the treatment varies and we won’t know the exact costs until he is evaluated, so we are trying to raise as much as possible in the meantime. Funds will be used for lodging, medical consultations, travel, and most importantly, urgent treatment.
I want to thank everybody for all the help that we have already received so far, and I give thanks for all the love and support of the community. We just want to stress that this is urgent. I've gone through all the chemotherapy and have exhausted all our resources, so your timely support is critical and appreciated.
