When we adopted Barbossa, the doctors had to amputate his left arm. They found him on the street with his arm swollen three times the size of what it should be. The later biopsy revealed the cause was a rubber band wrapped around his arm [most likely some cruel people getting their kicks]….Since the day we took him in, he’s been our baby boy. He wants for nothing (except a second breakfast or dinner). Our love for him & vice-versa keeps us so stable that if he was gone….we couldn’t even imagine a world like that.

He’s been dealt a hard hand…Recently, he has been having major problems regarding his urinary tract. After being hospitalized over the weekend, the doctors suggested we do a PU (Perineal Urethrostomy) Surgery due to recurrent urinary blockages and severe urinary tract infections.

We’re asking for anything to relieve the money strain on us that we’ve already paid to get him the help he needs. We love our sweet boy. The doctors say he has a really good chance of his problems improving with everything we’ve done so far.
