Help With Baby Charlottes Expenses

We don’t usually do this but desperate times call for desperate measures. Our little baby girl, Charlotte Avery, just couldn’t wait to come out and meet the world causing an emergency C-section. She was born June 26th, 2017 weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces and measuring 14.5 inches long. She’s a little fighter and we love her to death. She is considered almost a micro premature baby because she’s so small. Her due date was August 24th and so she came almost 2 months too soon. Now she is currently in the NICU and will be there at least until August 24th is what the doctors are telling us. Since she’s been in the NICU she’s been doing great, gaining weight and breathing really well with the help from the CPAP machine. She’s still got a long ways to go but I’m so proud of her for doing so well.

 

As a result of this it has caused an overwhelming financial burden on daddy and I. We drive out to go visit her every day no matter what the hour. Through all this James, daddy, has continued working but it is just not enough currently. Between our car payments, gas, rent, food, and utilities we’ve found ourselves struggling the most we ever have. We are possibly looking at getting a car repossessed because we aren’t able to keep up with it any further. I myself have been trying to find a work from home job myself to try and help with the financial burden but nothing has come from it yet. We still have tons to get for her including simple things just like diapers and socks for her. We have no clue how we are going to do this but we are taking it day by day. 

 

It is a very humbling experience to do this. But at this point we don’t know what to do anymore. We hold high hopes that we can raise a little bit of money through here to help hold us over until we can get things settled and get our baby girl home with us. We appreciate anything because at this point even a dollar will go far. I will be posting updates so you know how she’s doing as well.
